The exhibit will travel to the New York Irish Center at a date to be announced.

The series captures 50 Paddies diverse in age, background, ethnicity and sexuality.
This new narrative, exploring identity on the island of Ireland, is told through their stories.

An awarded cinematographer and photographer from Dublin, Ross O’Callaghan has had the ambition to undertake the Paddy Irishman project for almost 10 years.

“My intention has always been to launch in New York City – to export a new vision of Ireland, a snapshot of us no matter how we identify or whatever our beliefs, tradition or birthright. This is about who we were, who we are and where we’re going”

One of Europe’s leading creative agencies, The Brill Building has partnered with photographer Ross O’Callaghan on the Paddy Irishman Project to help this important work reach its biggest stage.  Their participation in the project, providing creative support in production and execution is part of their own exploration of what form Irish identity is permitted to take.

Capturing what it means to identify as Irish and male today.
